Product Manager

Overview:

As Technical Product Manager (TPM), you will guide a team that is charged with a product line contribution. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy providing industry insights and driving product direction within the company while finding innovative solutions for the broader market.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product architect and product marketing teams to translate business requirements into user stories for the development teams to implement
  • Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
  • Work with project managers and technical leads to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles
  • Work with development teams to ensure that they understand the vision for the product and are designing great features for our partners
  • Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so that they are clearly understood by the development teams
  • Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as the primary technical contact for queries related to the product
  • Work with key stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product releases
  • Develop, implement and improve a company-wide product launch plan, working with all departments to execute.
  • Analyze potential partner relationships for the product.

Qualifications

Need to Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; related major preferred
  • 4+ years' experience in product management for enterprise software
  • Enthusiasm, creativity and outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills: listening, understanding and persuading
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience working within an Agile team, with a strong understanding of the Technical Product Manager or Product Owner role, a distinct advantage

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrable industry experience with Enterprise Content Management, Records Management or Collaboration software
  • Demonstrable experience with SharePoint or Office 365
  • Experience with SAP Integration or SAP archiving a plus
