The Gimmal Sales team is looking for a strong Software Account Executive to join the team. The role will drive business into the Public Sector, more specifically the State, Local, Education division “SLED.” We need a strong process-oriented Sales Professional who knows the SLED segment inside and out, including working with strategic partners. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our full information governance software platform. You’ll have a good understanding of our portfolio, will build solutions around use cases, and will communicate their value to our customers. You’ll be involved from beginning to end – from account planning, through the development of the deal, and to the close of business.

If so, we are looking for a motivated and driven person like you who has:
5+ years of experience selling enterprise class software solutions to the SLED segment.
Extensive experience selling software solutions to the Public sector/SLED segment.
An affinity for establishing and sustaining relationships with prospects, partners, and existing clients.
A consultative sales approach, including strong negotiation skills and excellent follow-through.
A solid, verifiable history of quota achievement.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with leading CRM and Sales Automation tools.
The ability to work independently with professional detail in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
Bonus points if you’re bringing experience in or really want to learn the following:
Records management, information governance or eDiscovery industries.
Microsoft SharePoint, SAP or other ECM (Enterprise Content Management) systems.
A strong professional industry network.

Maximizing revenue through new software bookings and quota achievement.
Secondarily focusing on upselling and cross selling software and professional services.
Proactively prospecting target accounts and responding to marketing generated leads.
Creating and presenting professional proposals.
Communicating directly with prospects, partners and clients at all levels of their organizations.
Comply with requirements by:
Adhering to established sales processes.
Consistently documenting CRM to deliver accurate and timely forecasts to management.
